Role Description
Khalsa Consulting Inc. is seeking a Medical Biller hybrid position based in DMV METROPOLITAN AREA. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for managing claims processing, insurance billing, handling denials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. Daily tasks will include verifying patient insurance coverage, reviewing and submitting claims, following up on unpaid claims, and collaborating with insurance providers. You will also work closely with healthcare staff to address billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology, ICD-10 coding, and understanding of medical billing procedures
- Experience with insurance processes, including handling Medicare claims and insurance verification
- Ability to address and resolve claim denials effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with medical billing software is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing or a related field is preferred
